Eagle in the Morning Sky

The true meaning of my name

Written By: Alainnah Robertson

The rosy-robed sky of dawning

Full of hope and promise

The gold-girded sky of dawning

Full of new beginnings

Of youth regained

Of new Life springing

From the old

Old ideas, old places

Old ways of Being

Laid to Rest

In the Lavender of old Dreams

Eagle in the Morning Sky

Soaring, soaring, soaring

In the flaming Universe

Saluting the Snow Capped Mountains

Feeling their fresh challenges

Feeling the rich, red blood

Of new power surging, singing

From the deep, deep

Well of Renewal

The Well whose depths

Draw deeply from the riches of the Past

Feeding my Being

Eagle in the Morning Sky

Circling, circling, circling

Ever young, ever old, ever renewed

The Circle ever completing
